The Valley of the Queens is one of the necropolises where members of the royal family were buried. According to researchers, burials there were not limited to the wives of the pharaohs, but also included heirs to the throne who did not rule. Archaeologists have also discovered a section in the necropolis where priests performed rituals and prepared the deceased for burial.

Itinerary:

The trip to Luxor takes approximately 4 hours, including breaks for breakfast, rest, and restroom use. Arrival in Luxor around 9:00-9:30 AM;

1- Karnak Temple Complex: Sacred Lake, Scarab Monument, Obelisks;

2- Luxor Temple
Nile crossing by boat;

Lunch at a Nile-side café (buffet);

3- Temple of Queen Hatshepsut;

4- Colossi of Memnon;

5- Valley of the Kings (tomb visit);

6- Alabaster factory or oil press;

Departure from Luxor 5:00-5:30 PM.

Transportation: Large, comfortable bus with two drivers, equipped with security, air conditioning, and restrooms.

Suitable for everyone. No age or fitness level restrictions.

Additional charges upon request:

Banana Island: €10;

Drinks during lunch;

Entrance fee to Tutankhamun’s tomb: approximately €20.

Personal expenses. Transfers from surrounding areas are available for a fee:

El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh: €10 round trip for groups of 1-6 people;

Makadi, Soma Bay, Safaga: Free of charge, except for Coral Sun Beach, Viva Blue Resort Soma Bay, Kempinski, and Sheraton hotels: €20 round trip for groups of 1-6 people.

Additional Information:

When visiting Banana Island, tourists who do not book this tour will be met by a bus with a guide as it travels between the two beaches. Tickets are purchased on-site and payable in cash.

During the Valley of the Queens tour, three main tombs are visited; other tombs are available for an additional fee (at the on-site ticket office).

Please bring the following: your passport or a photo of it on your phone, a pre-prepared lunch (you can order it in advance from the hotel reception), comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat, sunglasses, warm clothes in winter, and water.
